## Every spring

- Check the roof and gutters after the winter storms.
- Clean extractor fans in the kitchen and bathroom.
- Look for damp patches on walls and ceilings.

## Every autumn

- Have the boiler serviced.
- Test smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.
- Lag exposed pipes before the first frost.

Keep a note of what you find. It makes it much easier to spot when something changes.
